Railroaders Shine at American Association All-Star Game

Two Railroaders represented the East Division at the American Association All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 15, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Outfielder Caleb McNeely and pitcher Ryder Yakel helped the East Division to a 9-3 victory over the West Division. McNeely capped off the win with a solo home run to right field in the seventh inning, scoring the East Division’s ninth run of the night.

The home run was more of the same for McNeely, who entered the break as Cleburne’s hottest hitter. He also homered in the Railroaders’ final game before the All-Star break, giving him nine home runs on the season. His .325 batting average leads all Railroaders hitters with at least 150 plate appearances in 2026.

Yakel made his first All-Star appearance with a scoreless outing out of the bullpen. Former Railroader Jaxx Groshans was named the 2026 All-Star Game MVP.

The Railroaders now return home for a six-game homestand, beginning with a three-game series against the Sioux City Explorers before welcoming the league-leading Kansas City Monarchs for three games, including a Wednesday doubleheader beginning at 4:05 p.m.

Cleburne enters the second half of the season at 27-26, good for third place in the East Division and currently holding a playoff position, sitting 4.5 games ahead of Gary SouthShore.

The Cleburne Railroaders are ready to make the 2026 season one to remember, and it all starts with an exciting lineup of theme nights and giveaways throughout the summer. From the moment the gates open on Opening Day, May 14th, fans will find something special waiting for them at the ballpark. Early in the season, guests can look forward to fan favorites like Clear Bag Giveaway, ,Magnet Schedule Giveaway Night, and our wildly popular STEM Day to kick off the summer in style. As the season rolls along, the calendar is packed with fun experiences including 80s Night, Hawaiian Night, World Cup Night, and Wild West Night, each bringing a unique energy and atmosphere to the ballpark.

The fun continues deep into the summer with nights like Baseball Card Giveaway Night, 90s Night, and Faith & Family Night, along with creative fan experiences such as Touch-a-Truck, Dino Night, and Railroaders Across the Galaxy Night. Fans can also celebrate big moments together on Independence Day, Juneteenth & Eagles Tribute Night, and more. The season wraps up with major fan events including Football Night, Hockey Night, and the massive Mega Giveaway Night, plus a special Family Field Day to close out the summer.
